Josh watched as she moved and sat down next to him "You're welcome" he said with a nod as he waited, but he couldn't help but let his eyes drift back to the dance floor, as soon as he heard her apology his eyes quickly moved back to her "No need to be sorry, I killed the mood" he said smiling as he shook his head "Oh, no thank you" he said with a wink.
He slowly stood up and stretched, he then offered her his hand "Wanna come dance with me" he asked with a smile as he turned his head to look at the dance floor which made him pout a little, he then glanced at the bar "Oh and you wanna get a drink first?" he asked - fuck, too many questions he thought to himself as he watched the lights flash around. At this point Josh was hoping she would dance with him, after all he'd rather dance with her then some half naked chick.

All throughout Josh’s speaking Kyla had remained quiet and blushed when he winked at her. She only remembered the moves she pulled and he pulled all too well. Even at the memory her body grew warm as a blush threatened to take over her features. It was an experience that she would probably never forget because of the feelings that came over her all from Josh’s touch. Ky bit her lip then, ’Stop that!’ Her thoughts needed to stop there or a blush really would take over her already cooling skin. When he asked her to dance, she looked up at him with a little surprise written over her face. Could he read minds? Oh that would have been horrible! The thoughts and images that flashed through her head from dancing earlier were something that her friends would never thought she would even think of. Back home she was the “innocent Kyla” to most and only a few friends knew of her smart ass ways sometimes or even her rather… innuendo come-backs.
Reaching her hand to grip his and pull herself up, she was about to say yes when he mentioned going to the bar for a drink. She really probably shouldn’t… Knowing her limits with champagne was one thing and she had not tried anything else. Ky had self-proclaimed herself a lightweight. She never wanted to end up drunk and wake up with a hangover or worse… someone else’s bed and not remembering a thing from the night before. She had never had a boyfriend, her first real kiss, and still had her v-card- an angel in most of the teenage world now. When she had her first kiss, she wanted it to mean something special. Sighing, Ky shook her head at Josh. “I probably shouldn’t, but you could if you wanted to. I could wait for you on the dance floor?”

Josh nodded at her response, he understood that people had their limits when it came to drinking and she clearly was one of them "nah, I just wanna dance" he said poking his tongue out, he shove on his beanie and fixed his hair. As he started walking he stopped and turned to offer out his hand.
Josh wasn't a violent drunk - causing fights and what not like most people, he was actually quite mellow and a bit shy, which is quite weird for him. Josh shook his head as he bit his lip waiting for her, maybe she would shake her head as in a no? what would he do then? he thought about it for a bit and then figured he'd just turn back around and keep walking as if he never asked her to hold his hand, he nodded to himself as he smiled at her. Josh couldn't help but allow his eyes to roam over her body, she was so damn hot - no wonder he was sweating and getting over heated on the dance floor; a slight laugh escaped his mouth, he quickly cleared his throat and glanced down at the dance floor.

Even when she had offered to wait for him on the dance floor he chose to dance instead. The way he said it actually reminded her of a song she had heard before. If she remembered the artist correctly, then it was the group Kiss from back in… the eighties she believed. If only she had been an eighties child… Being able to remember the song made her smile as she remembered its lyrics and believed the song was called I Just Wanna- the opening of the song was quite well “rebellious” perhaps might be a word to describe it, but nevertheless she found it to be a fun song. Out of all the music she listened to she just loved her eighties music from various groups. But then a song started blaring that she just happened to recognize. It was a newer song than what she would expect to be in a club, but she was happy it came on anyway. The lyrics were suggestive, but she loved its beat. Grinning, Ky took his offered hand and actually took charge as she lead the way back to the dance floor.
It was amazing what music could do to her. Just hearing a song she happened to enjoy could energize her and brighten her mood like this song did. ”Come on!” She had called over her shoulder to him and laughed, hearing that the song Dirty Dancer by Enrique Iglesias, Usher, and featuring Lil Wayne was going to start its first line of lyrics. Her face was flushed, wondering what he could possibly be thinking of her and her reaction to the song. Finally reaching a spot among the mass of bodies, Ky turned back around to face Josh, hoping she had not lost him among the throng of people dancing and grinding to the music.

Josh watched as she grabbed his hand and practically dragged him down the stairs - he couldn't help but laugh all the way down to the dance floor. Once they reached the dance floor he walked behind her the entire way, as she turned around he winked and pulled her close, dancing to the beat of the music.
Josh smiled as they danced "This is fun eh?" he whispered into her ear, he couldn't help but gaze around at everyone else, their bodies inseparable - everyone was sweating and looked like they needed to cool off. He turned his gaze back to Kyla and smirked as he moved his hands down her back, but stopped. Josh bobbed his head to the beat of the music - its sounds were mesmerizing, he poked his tongue out at Kyla playfully as they danced.

It was probably a good thing that Josh had followed behind her the whole way to the dance floor; at this point, the music had made her just want to dance and she would have either danced solo or with the next guy that happened to show up if Josh had not been there. Music tended to have certain influences over her at certain times. For example, the good music now was causing her to want to dance and let loose to have fun and enjoy her time tonight. When Josh pulled her closer to him, she immediately started to move with him to the beat of the music with a smile on her face. Her eyes stayed hooded for most of the time, as she lost herself in the music, the feel of the bass, and the boy she was dancing with.
At the whisper to her sensitive ear, she felt a shiver run down her spine as her eyes finally opened from their half-closed state. Moving to his ear to be heard over the music she replies, “No, it’s horrible,” but she giggled afterwards, as she was never really serious with her statement from the beginning. Sarcasm- hopefully it would make him smile or laugh instead of perhaps well… leaving her. Yeah it would hurt, but the music would be her friend and she would dance anyway. Josh was only someone she had just met, right? But then why work so hard earlier so that he would come back and dance with her instead of those other girls? At the thoughts starting to plague her mind, she mentally pushed the thoughts from her mind and focused on the music and dancing. Even when his hands moved down her back she did not care and continued to dance. Seeing his tongue, Kyla’s eyes seemed to light up playfully as she pretended that she was going to bite his tongue. At the childish manner between the two of them, she laughed and grinned. She did care if she was hot and perspiration was beading on her brow, she was having fun and she hoped nothing would take that away from her tonight.
